The "Grzybek" fountain is situated in the centre of Ciechocinek. It serves not only as an ornament of the famous health resort, but also as an industrial one. Fountain made in the shape of a mushroom is a casing of the source No. 11, which is a 414 meters deep brine borehole. It is from here that the brine is pumped to the graduation towers in Ciechocinek.

"The Mushroom was designed in 1926 by Jerzy Raczyński. In its history it has undergone several major reconstructions and renovations, it has been elevated and moved a few meters from its initial position. The fountain also has a therapeutic function. It is a natural inhalatorium, where resting patients inhale the air rich in iodine particles.
