Description

The Hellwig's Fountain is located by Hospital No. 1, by the famous Ciechocinek promenade and started to function at the beginning of June 2011.

In the fountain, surrounded by a barrier, there is 7 cubic meters of water in a closed circuit. In the middle, there is a cup 1.6 m high, over which a thin stream of water gushes out. There are 64 water streams in the circuit and also 8 piled up streams rising vertically.

The jets of the Windsor 600 type water jet eject water according to a variable programme. The whole program is controlled by a computer. Every several minutes the method of spraying water is changed. In the evening it is accompanied by a light show - the fountain lights up in different colours. At this time it is difficult to find a free place on the benches surrounding the fountain.

In the autumn and winter due to the reduced air temperature, the fountain is turned off. In place of the previously flowing water, there is a beautiful illumination light, which resembles the charm of the water thrown out by the fountain.
