Łeba - Deptak ul. Kościuszki
Łeba is located in the northern part of Lębork County between Łebsko and Sarbsko lakes, at the mouth of the Łeba River to the Baltic Sea in the buffer zone of the forests of the Słowiński National Park and the Reserve of the Sarb Spit.
Łeba was granted town rights in 1357. Although it was a small town, it conducted extensive trade with Hanseatic cities.
The development of rail and road transport initiated the touristic history of the city. Due to its landscape and natural beauty, Leba became a popular holiday destination for German stars and artists. The village developed intensively in terms of tourism only in the post-war years. Since April 1945, Łeba has been a popular holiday resort and an important fishing centre.
