Accessibility statement
Prepared on: June 17, 2026 · Last reviewed: June 17, 2026
WeDeploy Piotr Chrostek (operator of the LookCam) strives to ensure the accessibility of its website, player and LookCam applications for all users, including people with disabilities, in accordance with applicable product and service accessibility regulations. We treat accessibility as an ongoing process.
1. Commitment
We are committed to ensuring the digital accessibility of our service and to progressively removing barriers and raising the level of accessibility with each release. Accessibility is considered during design (design system, components) and testing.
2. Compliance status
The LookCam service is partially compliant with the WCAG 2.2 level AA guidelines and with the EN 301 549 standard. Partial compliance results from the limitations described in section 5 — primarily due to the nature of content created by third parties (live streams), for which full accessibility (e.g. real-time captions) isn't always achievable.
3. Legal basis
- Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019 on the accessibility requirements for products and services (European Accessibility Act, EAA) — applicable since 28 June 2025;
- the Polish Act of 26 April 2024 on ensuring compliance with accessibility requirements for certain products and services by economic operators (transposing the EAA into Polish law);
- the harmonized standard EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.2 (level AA) as the technical standard.
This is a commercial service — the 2019 Act on the digital accessibility of public-sector bodies doesn't apply to it; our obligations stem from the EAA and the 2024 Act.
4. Scope of the statement
This statement covers the website at lookcam.com, the web video player and live chat, and the LookCam mobile apps. Out of scope are content, players and ads embedded by third parties over which we have no technical control.
5. Inaccessible content / known limitations
The following elements may not be fully accessible, along with the reason and remediation plan:
- Live streams may lack captions or audio description — they are created by external broadcasters, and real-time captions aren't always available. We're working on caption tools for broadcasters.
- Live chat the high message rate and slow mode can hinder readability; we're developing readability settings and screen-reader support.
- Older recordings (VOD) may lack captions.
- Embedded elements and third-party ads may not meet our standards.
6. Accessibility features
- keyboard navigation and a visible focus indicator, a “skip to content” link;
- semantic structure, ARIA roles and labels supporting screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack);
- text contrast meeting level AA and a responsive layout that works at up to 200% zoom;
- support for reduced-motion preferences and forms with proper labels and error messages.
7. Accessibility efforts
We use an accessible design system and shared components, run automated and manual tests (including with screen readers), and accessibility is part of our change review. We plan to review this statement annually.
8. Technical information
The service uses HTML, CSS and JavaScript (WAI-ARIA). We tested it in current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, and with the NVDA and VoiceOver screen readers.
9. Feedback and contact
If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need content in an alternative format, email us at [email protected]. Please describe the issue, the page address and the browser and assistive technology you're using. We'll try to respond and, where possible, provide the content in an accessible way.
10. Appeal procedure
If our response is unsatisfactory, you can refer the matter to the relevant authorities:
- for oversight of service accessibility — to the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (PFRON);
- for consumer-rights protection — to the President of UOKiK or the local municipal/county consumer ombudsman;
- as the body safeguarding civil rights — to the Commissioner for Human Rights (RPO).
